Zosterops pallidus

Native Range: Africa

Notes: white-eyes (Zosteropidae) comprise a large family of small birds that look much alike and are also united by one prominent field mark that gives them their name-- a bright white eye-ring; these are highly social birds almost invariably found in small flocks of a dozen or more individuals that travel together through the brush and trees while foraging; nest is a deep cup made of plant fibers and down; most species are socially monogamous, with pairs seeming to bond for life.
