Great-crested Flycatcher
Myiarchus crinitus

Native Range: North America

Notes: another in a large complex of Myiarchus flycatchers that all look quite alike in plumage; in North America, this species is an eastern counterpart of the western Brown-crested Flycatcher, but has somewhat more extensive yellow on the breast; call is a distinctive rape-rape-rape that frequently is heard issuing from the tree canopy in deciduous forests.
