Little Friarbird
Philemon citreogularis

Native Range: Australia

Notes: friarbirds are large (nearly jay-sized) honeyeaters with baldish vulture-like heads accented by bare facial patches and in some species by a cask on the upper mandible; the Lttle Friarbird, however, lacks such a cask along its decurved bill; found in open forests and woodlands throughout much of northern and eastern Australia; no sexual dimorphism.
