Native Range: Middle America

Notes: breeds in coastal mangrove regions from Mexico to Panama; compared to many other swallows this species is rather non-migratory, but it does make some seasonal movements; builds a bulky cup nest in cavities or crevices near water; flies low over the water catching insects; no sexual dimorphism.
