Notes:
this black-and-gray crow of Eastern Europe and regions eastward across much of the rest of Eurasia is very closely related to the Carrion Crow of Western Europe; indeed, these two species hybridize in zones of contact across central Europe; walks or sidles in ungainly fashion while foraging on the ground; common and widespread across many habitat types within its range.
