Native Range: North America and Latin America

Notes: one in a large complex of Myiarchus flycatchers that all look quite alike in plumage; in North America, this species is a western counterpart of the eastern Great-crested Flycatcher, but has somewhat less extensive yellow on the breast; somewhat larger than the similar Ash-throated Flycatcher; no sexual dimorphism.
