Chihuahuan Raven
Corvus cryptoleucus

Native Range: North America and Middle America

Notes: the range of this Middle American species barely extends into the southwestern United States; told from the sympatric Northern Raven by its slightly smaller size, slightly stockier or stouter bill, and by the fact that feathers extend slightly further out along its bill; also tends to prefer desert floors and lower elevations than Northern Raven.
