Notes: native to lowland rainforests of Burma, Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra, and Borneo; nest a leaf-lined ground scrape hidden in leaf litter; strong sexual dimorphism; female lays 5-6 white eggs; can fly on short rounded wings, but prefers to run when disturbed.
